The best wine clubs of 2026

We may earn a commission from links on this page, at no extra cost to you. It never changes our picks. How we make money.

We compared 14 wine clubs on four things: what you really pay per bottle (after intro deals and shipping), wine quality, how much say you get over what arrives, and how easy it is to skip or cancel. These seven are the ones we’d actually join.

How we chose

We read each club’s current terms in October 2026, compared intro and regular prices, and weighed reviews from members and editors. Our ratings cover value, wine quality, choice & personalization and flexibility. We don’t accept payment for placement; if we earn a commission through a link, it never changes the order. See how we rate.

Things to check before you join

  • The regular price, not just the intro. Many clubs double or triple after the first box.
  • Shipping. It can add $10-$20 per shipment.
  • Skipping and cancelling. Every club here lets you cancel online or by phone: set a calendar reminder before each shipment.
  • Your state. Wine shipping laws vary; some clubs can’t ship everywhere.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best wine club for beginners?

Firstleaf. The intro box is cheap, the taste quiz is simple, and your ratings shape every future box. See our beginner rankings.

What is the cheapest wine club?

Per bottle, bulk clubs like Splash Wines and Wine Insiders are cheapest. See the cheapest wine clubs.

Are wine clubs worth it?

They’re worth it if you drink regularly, like discovering new wines and would rather not choose at the shop. If you buy one or two bottles a month and know what you like, a good local shop may be better value.
